Summer Camp 2020

COVID UPDATE:  We have decided to cancel all JUNE camps, but are moving ahead as planned for July and August. Camp schedule is below. Due to Covid the following adjustments will be made:

  • All camps will be capped at 8 students.
  • Campers will likely need to wear a mask during camp.
  • We will spread out and ask all campers to keep a reasonable distance from each other.
  • Camps will be held at 740 Yorkway Place (around the corner from our usual location) This space is twice as large and will allow us to spread out.
  • Campers may not attend camp if they have a fever, cough, cold, or other signs of illness.
  • All tools will be sanitized at the end of each camp session using rubbing alcohol and UV light

We hope that these adjustments will allow us to enjoy the art of sewing this summer while also keeping safe. As usual, camper/teacher ratios will be around 6:1. The Yorkway Place space gives us some outdoor space to use for snack and lunch breaks. Please note that these plans are contingent upon Montgomery County being in the Yellow or Green phase of re-opening. We will be reaching out to anyone already enrolled in June camps, but if you do not hear from us, please get in touch. If a camp has to cancelled due to Covid we will offer a full refund. If you have any questions or concerns, please email us.
