Every Wednesday 1:30-3PM

4/10, 4/17, 4/24, 5/1, 5/8, 5/15, 5/22, 5/29

Make-up class: 6/5

Beginning Sewing starts at, well, the beginning! This course teaches basic machine skills as well as providing an introduction to fabric and basic sewing tools. Projects made in this session will be our signature tote bag, comfy lounge/PJ pants and a zippered pouch!

No Experience Necessary!

  • All materials will be provided unless otherwise stated.

Use your own machine or borrow one of ours! We ask that you use our machine for the first class - after which you are welcome to bring your own. If you're bringing your machine, please be sure it's in working order and make sure you have the foot pedal, power cord, needle, empty bobbin and manual. Ask us if you have any questions!

All courses need at least 3 students for the course to run. In the event of low enrollment, tuition can be transferred to another class or refunded minus 3% processing fee.

  • Makeup class will be held on the above date in the event of studio closure due to inclement weather, or instructor illness.

  • No shows forfeit any refund or transfers.

  • The Sewing Room reserves the right to cancel a class at any time. Should we do so you will receive a full refund.

  • The Sewing Room reserves the right to substitute teachers either for a single class or the entire session if necessary.
